Hello! Last night I was in the bath and decided to see how things were coming together down there. I haven't even looked since I gave birth, and I don't have stitches - just one "graze" that has healed - I got off easy! Well, I put my finger just a little way inside my vagina and right away could feel a lump in the left side. A big one. I freaked out and called my midwife and she said maybe Bartholins gland cyst, maybe hematoma, maybe prolapse. I had an appointment today anyway and they checked and didn't know what it was. I've got a referral to an obgyn, but that might take 4-6 weeks. Had anyone had something like this? It's definitely on the left side, and seems to have fluid in it. Midwife said 2cm diameter and 1cm raised, but it felt bigger than that to me! It doesn't hurt, it's just really scary. I've been constipated again, but apart from that I thought my recovery was going really well!
