When should I start buying baby stuff

This is my 2nd baby , honestly i don’t remember  when i started purchasing baby stuff last pregnancy ... i think its too soon at 27 weeks🧐 idk please help

Baby number 2 here as well. I’ve bought some clothes and some unnecessary decorations and that’s it! I’m not planning on getting other things we still need until I’m 35 weeks or so. I’m much more relaxed about it all this time around and just don’t want to clutter our house until the last minute 😅

I didn’t wait. I got everything essential when I got to second trimester. Baby shower is virtual so just need large stuff bed/bassinet/stroller/car seat etc. third trimester now so I just organize and chill. Kept gift receipts for everything.

If you’re having a baby shower then I’d wait until afterward to see what you still need. With my first we figure out the nursery furniture that we wanted pretty early on then bought it as soon as there was a sale. Other than nursery furniture we bought a few little onesies and fun outfits, but waited until after the baby shower at 32 weeks for everything else. This time we have all the basics, but we’re having a boy and our first was a girl so we’ve started buying some baby clothes, a crib bedding set and some decor for the nursery. We’re not having a shower but I set up 3 registries so that I can monitor when the stuff I still want/need goes on sale. They also offer a completion discount so we can get a better deal on stuff that hasn’t gone on sale. It really depends what you’re comfortable with. I like spreading out the purchases because then it doesn’t feel like you’re hit with a lot of expenses at once.

I thought I was ahead of the game and then now the weeks are sneaking up on me!  I feel like after 35 weeks I didn’t want to do anything with my son and now that #2 is coming and there’s a energetic toddler I’m trying to knock out as much as I can before 34/35 weeks- we don’t need much but I figure have it ready and coast at the end lol 😆

Now. Lol We’re on #2 and I’ve been buying since we found out gender at 20 weeks.

Baby #3 but starting over because we thought we were done after baby #2, almost 6 years later...SURPRISE! Anywho, I am 24 weeks and have just about everything we need already. I buy a pack of diapers and wipes every grocery trip. We had a crib given to us. I bought her dresser after Christmas. I buy an outfit here and there. I felt like if I did little bits here and there it wouldn’t feel like too much all at once. 
With my first I waited until after my shower, 33-ish weeks to really buy anything. My second we had everything left from my 1st so again I waited until 33-isn. 
I don’t think 27 weeks is too early, but it is whatever you are comfortable with!
