Jump starting my period?

Hi ladies,
So we definitely want another baby, possibly two, and I’m 38, so we need to get started asap, but my period isn’t coming back. I’m EBF and I know going with formula would be the easiest way to go, but I’m not ready to do that, so... do any of you know of any magic tricks to jump start my period?

Unfortunately, I think it's all extremely person dependent. My friend got her's back around 4m with both her kids. I've gotten mine back at 8m with both of mine. I met a woman once whose kids were all 2 years apart because she breastfed them until 15m and didn't get a period until she stopped, then got immediately pregnant. 
I've also heard of women going months after they quit bfing and still not getting their period. Your hormones from birth take about a year to go back to pre-pregnancy and for some that means no period

I am also wanting to get pregnant but do not have my period. With my first I got it back at 8 months pp and got pregnant the next cycle. But I still have no signs of it returning this time. I’ve been reading up on it and found a research article that found statistically significant results. They said since there is such an inconsistency of women getting it back, it can’t be hormones blocking it alone. They said it has to do with us having a healthy body in a sense that we are consuming enough calories and water. If we aren’t our bodies from an evolutionary standpoint, “this is not a safe space.” It talked about as moms we often forget we are hungry when juggling life and obviously nursing burns even more calories. So adding more high protein snacks throughout. I’ve been trying hard to do this but know I wasn’t the greatest calorie consumer prior to having kids!!! I spoke to my friends who literally got there’s back right after and were EBF and they all said they ate like crazy, so maybe there is some truth. Good luck though!

I’m in the same exact boat right now. My baby is almost 9 months old and we plan to start TTC in May (although I’d prefer to get pregnant in July). I’ve been using OPKs since I gave birth. I’ve had one peak but started my period three days later. I got a pretty dark one the next month but I’m not sure if I ever actually ovulated (period started 6 days later). I’m just confused because my cycles started back at 3 months pp with my first child..

You can still get pregnant even if you haven’t gotten your period back! I got pregnant with #2 while still breastfeeding and EBF. I didn’t use OPKs, but I know a friend who did - she breastfed for a year and no period and got pregnant as well.

I'm in the same boat. I only pump three times a day and no period yet. For the past month though I've had cramps and ewcm and near close to positive ovulation tests .  Have you been taking ovulation tests ?
