When to tell friends?

How far along were you when you told your close friends you were pregnant? I am 6 weeks and 5 days and wanna just tell them so bad but my first appt isn’t until 9 weeks!😬🤷🏼‍♀️🤰🏼

I think its different for everyone. My last pregnancy I told my parents and close friends and family right away when I found out at 4 weeks then officially announced it at 12 weeks.
This time around we still haven't told anyone except my best friend (I'm 8 weeks now) and probably won't for another few weeks then we might tell close family (our parents) and friends and we probably won't "announce" it at all.

I told two close friends who have suffered miscarriages themselves (one of which has a daughter my daughters age and can help during scans etc) straight away. I knew they can support me through my high anxiety levels, they are both pregnant and further along too.
We are telling parents if this Fridays scan goes well and we see a heartbeat (we will tell them if it goes badly too I guess). We will probably leave everyone else until after 12 weeks as I don’t want work to find out through social media (I have colleagues online)

I told family and friends 5 seconds after my positive test 😂😂😂. But they also checked on me every month bc they knew we were trying. It was just my 3 besties and my mom and dad. Then I made them wait to tell people until I saw a heartbeat. I’ll announce on social media at my 11 week ultrasound next week if baby is thriving.  Everyone knows already so idk why I’m even posting lol.

As soon as I found out lol. My best friend knew before my husband because he was at work. I knew before her fiancé when she got pregnant too 😂

We told our close friends right after the dating ultrasound. We wanted to confirm heartbeat first. I was 7 weeks 2 days.
