Could I be having a miscarriage?

I am five weeks and having some cramping. I woke up this morning to pinkish brown spotting. Could I be having a miscarriage?

If it was miscarriage it would quite soon turn bright red period type blood. I wouldn’t worry from what you’ve shown at all

I had cramping pretty much my entire first trimester. My doctor stated it’s your body adjusting and growing to pregnancy. 
I also had quite a bit of brown discharge during weeks 6 and 8. I called the baby line and they said it’s normal, old blood leaving the body. I’m now 19 weeks and doing well.

Too early to tell. Cramping is totally normal. When I miscarried naturally, I just started bleeding. It was pink one night, and the next morning it was rusty brown, then within an hour it was dark red heavy bleeding. Cramps started when the heavy bleeding started. Just keep an eye on it. Some light bleeding and even spotting is normal, but it’s also not normal. Pregnancy is tough lol. If you start bleeding, call your ob and see if they’ll do the 48 hour hcg draws.

I had brown spotting at around 7 weeks and my doctor said some women just get not sure why but it’s very common. Everything looked great with my ultrasound so she isn’t worried

No don’t be worried! I have had cramping here and there and I am 5+5. Also, I haven’t had this but many people told me that spitting is normal because you are stretching and everything is growing and moving around in there. I wouldn’t worry unless it gets heavy. You’re just fine!

Thank you all for your responses. My bleeding is still pink but pretty heavy so I’m pretty sure I’m having a miscarriage 😔
