minor house remodel

Bri

So, we bought our 1st home end of March, beginning of April in 2019. We literally signed closing paperwork, got the keys, moved & had our 5th baby all within a weeks time. I didn't have the chance to do any painting or anything that I would have liked to do because at the time, my main priority was selling our trailer to get into our first real home, get all of baby's stuff washed & ready for our baby's arrival- the important stuff ... "the painting & other stuff could wait." Well... here we are coming on 2 years, our 6th baby & I want to move in 2 years back to our kids school district (we do open enrollment & live 15 minutes down the road from their school, this year we're doing virtual schooling but we're still a part of their school). So I told my SO that I want to do some touch ups so when we go to re-sell the house looks nice. Like painting, touching up the wood trim, change the floor in the dining room, nothing crazy. Is that crazy of me? My SO doesn't think we should do anything since we're going to be selling it anyways, but I think the little things that I want to do make sense to help increase the value. I can add examples if needed. I'm not looking to do major renovations just little details that I think matter.
