Rice or oatmeal?

Which one do you mommies feed your four month old and why?

Neither. There isn’t much nutritional value. I like waiting til closer to 6 months and when they can sit up more independently

I’ve been trying a little baby porridge or ‘oatmeal’ for a few weeks as a taster before his morning milk as its the closest consistency and taste to milk (I don’t make it thick)

I did rice with my first son and oatmeal with my second son. Something about arsenic being in the rice ... I don’t know. My best friend chose oatmeal over rice and so I figured I’d try it out this time

I do oatmeal and quinoa mix. It is fortified with iron.
