I called CPS on my neighbor for abusing her toddler. She curses at him, beats him, talks to him like a stranger off the street basically, and told him to his face that shes going to starve him. Calls him retarted and stupid. She gets into physical fights with the child’s father in front of the child. Tells the child she’s “ganna slap the shit outta him” and “whoop his ass like he’s grown”... HES THREE. Yesterday, she kept telling the little boy “you’re fucking sick”?? The father also claimed to have evidence of her abusing their son.

She decides to follow the investigators to my house and now she knows where I live. She didn’t see my face as I had a mask on. She started threatening to hurt me if I didn’t mind my business. Now my mother is saying that I should’ve never called and that I put my family at risk. Honestly, I’m scared for my mom. The woman is 10, maybe 15 years older than me, she could hurt me and that’s fine but my mom is 52, and less than 5 feet tall and I don’t want ANYTHING to happen to her. I’m feeling like I fucked up here. I shouldn’t have opened the door but I didn’t know it was her. She didn’t see my moms face either but idk.

- UPDATE: She showed up again. I didn’t open the door. She stood there telling me that she has a 20y.o son.. why? I don’t know. Started saying that she works with old people (I hope she treats them better than she treats her baby). She stood there and said that I must not work (which I do), and that I must be bored to report her to CPS. Told me her father just died and her sister has COVID. Anyway, I don’t know why she’s telling me her family business, I just said “ok”. She said that I should’ve spoken to her before calling CPS...? (Or maybe just don’t abuse your child?) BUT THEN she said that apparently, the investigators gave her my information because I had “wasted their time” and that I was going to get locked up for reporting false information?
