Spotting/ bleeding around 6 weeks? Stories of this being ok?

Hi everyone!
I had my FET 1/20 and had good betas, and have my 6 week ultrasound Monday 2/15. Yesterday I started spotting - kind of intermittent and ranging randomly from pink to dark red to brown. This morning it seemed a little heavier. My nurse yesterday said it’s pretty common and to try not to worry too much, but that just in case I should cut out sex and exercise. 
Of course, I am worried. Has anyone had spotting or bleeding at the beginning and everything turned out ok? 
Would love some hopeful stories!!
It can’t ever just be simple, can it?

I had brownish spotting I’d say around 7-8 weeks. I really didn’t think too much of it or even worry that much because I had heard it was normal. But then around 9 1/2 weeks I bled heavily, worse than a period. But no cramps. Needless to say I was freaking out and was advised to go to the ER. I was devastated and prepared myself for the bad news. They couldn’t see the source of the bleed but baby was fine to our surprise. Followed up with my OB and she immediately saw an SCH. Had a handful of bleeding episodes and then it just stopped. I was on pelvic rest for a long time as precaution but everything turned out fine!! And mine was very large. I believe they can be common with IVF but most don’t even know they have it or they spot just very little. OR you could just be having some old implantation bleeding. I know it’s hard seeing blood but try not to worry too much:)

Yes. This happened to me around 5 weeks. I had bleeding like a period. It was red and I went through about 4 pads in one day. My nurse said the same thing, no exercise and no sex.it lasted about a day and a half and then stopped. I had an ultrasound about 5 days later and everything was fine. I am now 12 weeks. My nurse said bleeding is common. It could be the embryo digging deeper into your uterus wall or a little pocket of blood which I hear is common with IVF. I know it is scary, but it most likely OK. Wishing you the best on your upcoming ultrasound.

I had spotting when I was about 6 or 7 weeks along. It freaked me out for sure, even though everyone says it’s common and normal. Everything turned out ok. The spotting lasted about a week.
