I just had my 34 week appointment. The drs always kinda act like they struggle to find my baby’s heartbeat and it’s always kinda faint (I have an anterior placenta) but this time he was talking to me while he put the thing on my stomach and initially I didn’t hear anything. Then I heard something faint and he quickly said “your baby sounds fine I’m just trying to get a good listen” and I said okay. He then went to the other side and said “oh there it is” again I heard something at first but then it faded. He kept it there for a bit longer and then asked me if he’s been moving a lot...I said yeah. Then he got quiet and after a bit longer he said “he sounds great”

I know he would have said something if something was off but it kinda concerned me once I had time to think about it...I have felt the baby move since but I was just put off by how he acted.
