How do you lay your baby to sleep after rocking?

My daughter always wakes up screaming as soon as I lay her down. I've been cosleeping but want to stop. But it's hard when she won't sleep in her own space more than a couple of minutes. I tried sleep training using controlled crying for intervals and it was horrible, I dont think her personality is right for sleep training.

I have found that the sooner I lay him down after he falls asleep, he's more likely to stay asleep. He likes to sleep on his belly, so if he's just asleep in my arms and I move him, he's still in a light sleep where he usually rolls to his belly right after I put him down. It changes though when he's going through a regression.  Maybe just keep trying, I'm sure eventually she'd be tired enough to stay asleep if you keep at it, though I know it'd take a while at first but then she might get used to it as time goes on. It can be really rough, you're doing a good job, it won't be forever ❤️

I akwardly lean almost all the way into her crib to put her down, works most of the time. but I feel you!

I lean all the way down in the crib and lay him on his stomach bc that’s how he sleeps every night.

I wait a few minutes then transfer her and when I do I kinda help her roll over onto her belly then I’ll pay her back until she starts breathing deeply! It helps a lot!
