Best toys for 1- 2years?

For those of you that follow a practical learning play, Montessori, minimal battery operated toys and more wooden, what are your go to toys for when they actually start playing?

My daughter has LOVED cars for a long time (she is 2.5). When she was 1 we started wooden blocks, a kitchen set, wooden beads, large legos, play dough, stacking toys etc. we have some electronic toys thanks to grandparents but try and limit those. We aren’t strict Montessori as I believe in make believe and pretending but we do try and stick with passive toys.
