Anyone else have Postpartum anxiety?

I've heard of Baby blues, postpartum depression but not postpartum anxiety.  Now that I know about it I think I have it. Constantly worrying about my baby, is she ok, is something wrong if shes not crying I'm worried. Anyone else and how did you get over it ?

My anxiety consisted of “bad thoughts”. Taking my daughter with me somewhere and when i arrive shes dead in her carseat. Fear of dropping her or her choking and me not being able to help. Hearing her cry would make me cry and make me think she was hurting and I couldn’t figure out how to help her. The biggest one was me being terrified if taking her out of the house. I literally stayed inside for 3 months straight. I was a hot mess the first 4 months of my daughters life. Only after starting zoloft and  counseling did i get better. Now after almost 16 months of experience i can say every day “i got this” and actually believe it. Lol! Post partum depression/anxiety is no joke.

I had PPA and didn’t even know it. Went to the ER to get checked for clots after my c-section because I couldn’t breathe... and it was just anxiety. I was confused because it did not present to me like my regular anxiety 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes I have anxiety because he spit up in the crib and almost chocked.. so after that every little noise , and he makes many! I wake up... and I have anxiety about leaving the house and him crying in the car or in the stroller... and about him getting sick and getting vaccine reaction... and covid...

My PP anxiety is finally easing off at 14 months thank god. It got so bad after she was in the nicu for 6 days after birth, then hospitalized at 3 weeks. For months she’d sleep in her crib which was glued to my side of the bed, with 2 monitors on next to me so I could have night vision and watch her breathing until I’d collapse from exhaustion. I thought she’d die in her sleep every single night. It was awful and I’m so glad I got professional help and have a supportive husband.

Yes.  Mine mostly revolved around germs and illnesses though.  When the pandemic hit, I didn’t have to change my lifestyle because I was already pretty well protected worrying about the flu and rsv 😬
