High Prolactin, Hypothyroidism: INFERTILE?

Question

I got some blood work done, I’m not pregnant and my period is actually coming in 3 days approximately. I had High Prolactin, my levels were at 51,54 ng/mL, I also have hypothyroidism and my levels are usually high. Also got a High SHBG. Am I infertile? I’m currently waiting for my gyn to answer but I want to know your opinions

My specialist and gyno just asked if i had regular cycles and if i ovulated each month bc i too had hypothyroidism and high prolactin! since i do have regular cycles and ovulate monthly and got my thyroid in check, they said i should be fine and to keep trying 🤞🤞 i also had to get an MRI this past monday to see if there was a mass on my pituitary gland bc of the high prolactin, thankfully there was nothing! i say to not lose hope yet and run more tests

Having high prolactin and hypothyroid doesn’t automatically make you infertile, but it may decrease your chances. If you have been trying for a year plus with no successful pregnancy, it’s considered infertile. Infertile also doesn’t mean that you’re unable to get pregnant/carry a successful pregnancy
