I don't want to scare you, but all the women (mom and sisters) in my family have gotten pregnant on birth control. I am 1 of 6 kids in my family and my mom had 5 of us on birth control and they were all different.

Yeah I did. And so did my mom. I took mine at the same time every day, I had an alarm on my phone. I had heard so many stories about people getting lazy about taking them and getting pregnant. I had been taking them for two years when I got pregnant. I continued taking them up until my positive test even so I was about 5 weeks when I found out.

The pill has a high user error failure rate. However, if you take it perfectly on time you would be fine.

I fell pregnant on the pill when I was 19, had been on the same pill for 3 years, had my period end of September (week off the pill) then started taking it again, took my week off at end of October and AF didn’t show, I waited two weeks off pill to see if it would appear, I then started getting sore boobs. So I took a test and yes I was 100% pregnant, I’ve now got a 4 year old boy💙 
Fair to say it was a shock!!
