What are some things you consider a splurge and some things you consider a save when decorating a home?

For me a good quality sofa is something you need to slurge on, while a coffee table is something you save on. One art piece - splurge, other art and decor - save (pillows, vases, picture frames).

I'm a sale type of girl. When I say splurge I mean I get good quality on a sale (I'll wait for a specific item to go on a good deal like Black Friday).
