I’m 29 and this is my first time ever being pregnant (tried for about 5 months)... it’s super surreal, exciting, and also scary! I so badly want everything to be okay, but I see so many posts about miscarriages and how common they are that I’m just really nervous about that and pray that I have healthy, full term pregnancy.

My husband also wants to announce it to family before I even turn 5 weeks! I just have this feeling that if we tell our families that it’ll jinx it and I’ll regret having everyone in my business. I feel like it would be smarter to wait until after my first ultrasound at 9 weeks? If we can keep it secret that long
