2.5cm and 80% effaced and bloody show?

OB did a check yesterday because I’ve been having random contractions, found out I’m 2.5cm, 80% effaced and -2. He did a sweep and part of my show came out, he said I’d loose more throughout the day which I did. Started getting period cramps yesterday after my appointment and by the evening had pressure and tightening with them fairly consistently. Went to bed and they fizzled out 😩😩 how frustrating!! I just want my baby here! Does it sound like labor is near? Isn’t it typical to go into labor a few days after your bloody show?
