I stared the depo shot a while ago and I honestly don’t have any bad effects that I’ve heard others speak about. My first depo shot my I spotted a lot and that was annoying my second shot I just have no period or spotting and I didn’t willing get in depo myself. My mom kinda forced me too. I’m 19 going on 20 🙄 but I’ve heard a lot of stories about women becoming infertile. And that’s the last thing that I want. Also things like it may take a while for you to get pregnant after stopping the shot and many other things that I just don’t wanna go through. I don’t want any children now but I definitely want them in the future. And I tried the birth control pills before they made me feel horrible super nauseous, headaches. And always hungry when I’m already eating 24/7 anyway. So I’m definitely not going back to that. I need an alternative or just something better. I want to have my period, and if I’m financially stable in the next year or two a baby wouldn’t be completely out the picture. I’m just afraid of this shot 🤦🏽‍♀️ of all birth control really. Any thoughts on the iud or the implant in your arm plz let me know how that went for you guys. And condoms give me bv and I itch so yeah i don’t use them. I’ve gotten an std when I lost my virginity months ago I’ve been having sex with the same person ever since. And that honestly scared me too with whole possibly not being able to have a child. This is honestly just stressful. I’m supposed to get my next shot March 3 I need to figure out what im going to do I just need options and opinions
