I know each lease and area are different but I'm curious.

Do you just recycle the deposit?

What if the leasing office doesn't like you..like they've had issues in the past. Nothing rent or lease realted but if theres been crappy encounters.

..Such as the office giving me issues not accommodating Tennant's correctly as far as maintince. My AC broke multiple times in the summer and they've NEVER given me a portible ac unit to hold me over till they fix it. So as you can imagine after day 3 of it being broken I called the office sweaty and upset and they've had an attitude with me ever since. So..could they deny me another lease?

They also leave appliances broken for weeks at a time like the garbage disposal. Its a bad neighborhood but it's what I can afford.
