How do y’all know when labor is near?

So I’ve posted a couple things about labor and stuff but I legit don’t know since my daughter was a csection and I’m attempting a VBAC for my son. I’ve just had my 37 week appointment and was not even dilated. I just wanted to know if anyone had any experiences that you noticed and labor started shortly after? I know the typical contractions and bloody show and of course the water breaking but lately my pretty chill baby has picked up activity majorly. Any one notice anything different that would later show labor beginning? I have also notice that I have felt hiccups towards my butthole lol 😂 my stomach has been looking like that.
