did anyone tell family members when you and your s/o started trying for a baby? or did you just wait to announce a pregnancy?

Depends on who it is. The people closet to me know that we are trying. I’m married with 2 kids, I feel no need to hide it. No one is supporting me, my kids or my husband.

Im very open about it. More people to send prayers and positive thoughts, the better in my opinion. Plus I don’t get asked the questions or hear the comments anymore now (like “when will you give us grandchildren?”) because they know we’re trying, & unfortunately it’s taking us a while so Im glad not to have to listen to those remarks

We will probably let them know in some casual conversation that we’re planning on trying again soon or have started trying again. We’re pretty open with everything and I really don’t see an issue if that’s the kind of relationship you have with family.

Nope, we just announced when we were expecting. I don’t see why anyone would need to know when we’re trying to conceive since that’s something intimate.
