Extremely painful cramps 4 days after IUI...

Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar?

I had an IUI 4 days ago and woke up this morning with extremely painful period like cramps around my uterus area. They were so painful I contemplated going to the emergency room. After roughly 30-45 mins the cramps were completely gone but I felt sore for most of the day while walking/moving. No spotting at all. I contacted my doctor and they said it was not exactly normal or un-normal and they didn’t have any answers. I’m just wondering if anyone experienced something similar and has some additional information.
