Hiking in the cold
Marcus and I love hiking and we’ve realized it is one of the few safe things we can do during COVID so we’re dying to go. We have a carrier for Luca and winter gear for all 3 of us but the high tomorrow is only 27 degrees (fahrenheit). It takes about an hour to complete the hike without a child in a carrier so probably 1 hour 15 min with him and more if we let him walk a bit, which I would like to do. Is that too long for Luca to be out in the cold? Am I being ridiculous to worry? He still won’t wear a mask so I worry mostly about him breathing in cold air for so long.. don’t want him to catch a cold.
