Contractions at work

Tayste

Does anyone have experience with working a job that has you on your feet and moving for hours? I work in at Texas Roadhouse in the kitchen and can feel my contractions, but I can’t manage to keep track of them. As of now, they’re never regular any other time of day (before or after work) so I’m less worried about them when I’m at work. But I’m 37w2d. My doctors words to me when I left her office yesterday were “see you in a week if you’re still pregnant!” 🤯 clearly I knew I was approaching labor within coming weeks, I’m 3cm dilated & 50% effaced. But I work a lot this weekend, with Valentine’s Day, so I’m a little worried I won’t notice them regulating? Anyone have experience they could share with me? I’m a double all weekend so I’ll be working 10-12 hours a day the next three days. Actually 4, Presidents’ Day is Monday and I’m a double then too 😅

I guess I just need advice, or anyone’s personal experience with working like this and when you went into labor/how you knew it was real.
