Guys please tell me if any one of you had an off experience on any of your ob gyn prenatal visits ?

I went in to see the doctor she told me to get on the bed to do my first scan since I was 7 weeks I saw the nurse preparing the transvaginal ultrasound , I told the doc kindly that I would prefer not to have this and wouldn’t mind waiting a little further on in pregnancy to get an abdominal scan .

She sounded shocked and starting asking me why I said that’s my preference if that’s okay , she said this doesn’t make sense what’s the reason if you can’t do this how will you do cervical exams , I said yes I would like to opt out of getting cervical exams before the actual labour day and she was all hot and bothered and said how will you give birth if you can’t do this why is it such a problem , she said maybe I need to change my mind about vaginal delivery then cz I won’t be able to do it . In my mind I’m thinking just cz I would rather not have things shoved inside my butt and vagina unecesarily doesn’t mean I can’t give birth .

She really demotivated me and made me feel like I can’t do this ,

Anyways finally after a long lecture and probing into why why why won’t u do these things one last time I say I would prefer an abdominal scan if Thts alright with you , finally she says okay yea Thts okay with me

I’m not going back to her I’m still down n I’m actually starting to doubt myslf if I can give birth or not
