My baby is a snacker!!!

BoyMom

My baby boy will be 3 months old on Monday. He is EBF since birth and is my first baby. Since he was born, he has been a snacker. He only eats from each breast for an average of 7 minutes (on each side). Sometimes he does more, sometimes less, but 7 minutes is pretty average for him. He’s producing plenty of wet diapers throughout the day. He’s gaining weight and the doctor says he’s doing just fine. I cannot get him to eat more in one sitting no matter what I do. He is perfectly happy when he’s finished so he’s clearly not hungry anymore. My question is, will my supply drop with these tiny feedings? It hasn’t yet I suppose, but I’m worried that my body will think he’s not eating much and won’t produce enough for him. I know my body will produce what he needs based off what he eats, but I’m just worried my supply will drop. Should I pump in addition to his feedings? I don’t want an oversupply though!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
