False negatives??

Question

Have any of you guys had multiple negative tests and was still pregnant? I’m 8 days late for my period (which is unlike me) but the tests I’ve taken have all come back negative. I went to the dr yesterday and got a blood test but haven’t received the results yet. I’ve been trying for a year and just want to knowwww!

There are multiple different reasons you could be late

False negative isn't really the correct term. If negative, its not usually due to a faulty test but rather one of these scenarios: 
1: you're not pregnant and the test is accurate 
2: delayed ovulation: you're testing too early,  and the egg hasn't implanted yet (if testing 12DPO or earlier) 
3: the egg has successfully implanted but there isn't enough HCG yet to be properly detected, and a blood test may be your best option. 
Yes, tests *can* be faulty, but if you've tested multiple times and/or used different brands I'd tests and they are all negative,  then the tests aren't faulty and it's likely one of the cases listed above
