I’m almost 38 and was unsure if I could conceive due to large fibroids. My husband and I have spent the last few months getting certified to be foster parents, with the eventual hope of adoption. Yesterday was our final interview to be certified (we are supposed to be placed with a baby in three months!), and boom! I found out I’m pregnant. It’s totally surreal and very exciting, and our plans are definitely going to have to shift. :)
