I waited many months. I was scared my vagina was gonna fall off it felt off for a long time after the baby.

Definitely NOT before 6 weeks since there’s a massive wound inside and no one should be having sex prior to 6 weeks.
I had a 4th degree tear and 36 internal stitches with my first so...I think it was around 10/12 weeks.
With my second, I want to say it was about 8/9 weeks, I was exhausted and sex was the lowest possible priority.

12 weeks. Had a third degree tear and I didn't feel ready before that point.

I don’t know what severity my tearing was but did have stitching. I ended up having scar tissue growing externally and they burned it off with acid at 7 weeks pp so I wasn’t ready until probably 4 months pp. it’s still uncomfortable and I’m 21 weeks pp.
