normal to miss a period?

Hi yall, I’m on the combo Ortho-Tri-Sprintec bc pill and this is the first pill pack I have missed my period by a day..I still have three placebo pills left this week but if it doesn’t come, is it normal to miss a period ??
I’ve been stressed lately so that could also be a factor. I also use protection.
