I didn’t give my doctor a gift dude to COVID 19 but now I’m pregnant again and going back  to same doctor .. I don’t know I should
Give her a gift ..

My doctor did nothing for me and I had an incredibly traumatic experience. The doctor who possibly saved my life is only on call at the hospital at certain times and doesn’t work in the office anymore so I just wrote him an amazing review on the hospital survey and I do plan to write him a letter expressing how much I appreciate everything he did.

I know some patients give doctors pictures or the announcement for their babies. But we never did a gift.

They are doing their job?! I don't understand this gift giving thing. Same as giving teachers gifts for doing their job. Do you give your bus driver a gift? Or your mail man? The cashier at your nearest store. I could go on.. they all get paid for their job. Unless they do something to go out of their way, I don't think there's no need for a gift. 
But that's just my personal opinion and I don't discourage anyone from giving gifts. If you like doing that, that's absolutely fine and very kind of you.

No. With everything else going on, that’s not really precedent, and my OB works in a team of doctors. Maybe if I felt a personal connection or if they went above and beyond to make the experience better I might, but the most I’d send would be a birth announcement card and a personal thank you note.
