my boyfriend doesnt want to wear a condom

i have suffered from recurrent BV and i’ve told my boyfriend about it but it doesn’t change the fact that he doesn’t want to wear a condom for me.. am i in the wrong? because he makes it seem like wearing a condom is such a bad thing. he assumes that i think he’s dirty and that i don’t trust him but it has nothing to do with that! what do you think we should do? because we haven’t had sex in a month because of this and ive been doing well with my vaginal health lately.
