My milk came in yesterday. Baby girl is 4 days old and she nurses like a champ. Latches really good, nurses for a good chunk of time, peeing and pooping a ton.. but omg my boobs are in some serious rough shape today. Hard as a rock, warm, nursing now kills. I want to cry. I’ve pumped just a little bit twice today to help relieve some of the pain, took a warm shower and massaged and used ice packs. I’ve put her on me as much as possible but now my boobs hurt to the point where I dread feedings. It doesn’t help that I also had an unplanned c section and healing from that has been so difficult for me.

When does this pain go away :(
