Failed frozen transfer

Jillian

Can’t believe I’m writing this, but needed to talk to someone. I’m 42yr and trying for baby #2. We had two canceled IVF cycles, then by the pure grace of God got pregnant on our own with our beautiful baby boy who turns 2yr TODAY!!!

We’ve been trying to have another and decided to start IVF again after trying for 9mon. We prepared for our first IVF fresh transfer only to have it canceled due to the nurse giving me the wrong medication instructions on accident🤔🤔🤔. I did however make it to the retrieval in that cycle and we were able to freeze 4 embryos 🙌🏾 We decided to transfer 2 of them at a time and did our first frozen transfer on Jan 28th. Unfortunately we found out on Feb 8th that neither of them took 😓 I am emotionally exhausted with the disappointing news over and over. We are going to try the same way again, transferring 2 frozen embryos. IF for whatever reason it doesn’t work, I have decided to stop IVF, stay off BC until my 44th birthday next May and then get my tubes tied.

My question is, how long do we have to wait to try another frozen transfer? I started my period yesterday 2/14. I’ve read both that you have to wait a month and also that you don’t. Just really anxious and don’t see the dr anytime soon😞 Any insight wound be greatly appreciated 🙏🏽
