No relationship I have ever been in has ever cares enough to do ANYTHING for me for any holiday. No birthdays, Christmases, Mother's Day, nothing. Since I have been with my SO (2 years this May), he has made it his mission to change that. Every holiday and just because, he showers me with love through gifts, flowers, foot and back rubs (I'm disabled so this is daily), the whole 9 yards. This week coming up to Valentines day I got flowers delivered to the house, a restaurant where we had a lunch date, AND he topped it off with MORE flowers, candy, a romantic hotel room and romantic dinner on Valentines day! I couldn't ask for a better person! If this is a dream, please don't wake me up!!
