Perfect relationship is not found, it is built.
So you accept to be with a person you can see, have understanding of what needs to be done.
A person that also aim for this idea/vision of relationship and is willing to build it too.
A person that have qualities that will help to reach that vision (forgiveness, compassion, understanding, communication, honesty, humility....) because those are the tools that will help you when facing challenges.
The misconception of what a relationship is, leads people to disappointment.
They want to find THE one. So they are after some criteria that will not help in difficult time.
I believe everyone can be the one. It is just a matter of acceptance of what they have to offer and willingness of working with what you have on the table.
Do not look to be 100% sure he is the one. You will never be.
What can you be sure of in life?
Nothing is guaranty and nothing is constant In Life.
But what you can do is knowing you will make the effort needed. You will be in the side of "the relationship"

Absolutely! That’s the difference between settling/needing to get married and wanting to get married ie being head over heels in love with that person and wanting to cement a legal, spiritual, romantic, emotional, financial bond with them. 
Anyone can be an adequate spouse but if you don’t adore them then don’t marry them, we all deserve true love and if you’re not feeling that way then it’s not fair on either party.

The first time, no. I accepted because I didn't want to be killed and left in a vacant lot in the middle of the night, which is where and when my abusive, unpredictable ex proposed. The second time, I had no doubt at all. I felt safe, secure, and certain. Saying yes to my husband was the best decision I ever made.

Yes. I knew from the moment i met my husband that he was the one i was meant to spend my life with. There was never any hesitation to be with him or to plan a life together. Everything just clicked when we met. Weve had rough patches of course but weve been through more in 3 years than some couples have done in 10. He is my absolute best friend next to our daughter and i cant imagine a life without him.

I love my husnand a lot. I love to share life with him. He is a wonderful father and I would'nt want to change it.
But I don't think love is ever "one and only" thing. That would be sad. If you found your "one", somehow lost him and then what? Your one is gone, you will be alone the rest of your life? 
No, I was not sure, he was THE IT, I am not even now. The thing is. I didn't fall for him head over heels blindly. I chose to be with him, I chose I want to love him, I chose it all, I feel good with him and I want to be with him. And I believe there are still other people out there I could choose to love, bud I don't, because I have my own.

We’ve been together for a decade. Own a home, have a dog and I’m 35+3 pregnant. I proposed and was 1000% it was the right thing and that she would say yes.
This doesn’t mean our relationship is perfect, just that we have both chosen to commit to making it as good as we can, together.

Yes. When I met my now husband I knew he was the person I wanted to spend my life with. That doesn’t mean our relationship was a fairytale or hasn’t been work- we have been together twenty years now and we put in work every day. Relationships take care and attention every day. The other commenter made it sound like you can mold anyone into your soul mate/successful life partner/spouse- this is not true and you should have standards and expectations when it comes to your partner. 
I do agree that people assume marriage is a fairytale and easy. It’s not. Again, marriage takes work, communication, hardcore commitment, trust, love. Many people give up, rather than mend or work at it.
