How common are missed miscarriages?

I had an appointment at the clinics for a free ultrasound but I guess they are closed for Presidents’ Day. Not sure why they let me schedule it, but anyway. I don’t have any cramping or bleeding but I’m so nervous my baby doesn’t have a heartbeat. I’m 6w 1d today. And my OB appointment isn’t until March 4

All mamas go through this stress. Or most. Don’t take it there in your mind. Stay positive- you have no reason to assume you’re miscarrying. Think good thought for baby and you! I screen shot this from another mama and when I feel worried I read it! Maybe it will help you too. There’s nothing you can do if you miscarry but don’t put yourself in that headspace. It’s just going to mess with you emotionally. Hang in there you will get peace of mind at your scan. It will be here before you know it💖

I had a missed mc at 9 weeks. Went for a scan and there was no heartbeat and measurements were about 6 weeks. 
I miscarried naturally 2 weeks later. I am now pregnant again and so worried it's going to happen again!

They were actually opened. But I only measured 5w2d but I should have measured 6w1d. So my hopes aren’t up

I’m not sure how common they are, but I had one with my pregnancy previous to this one. I was 4 days shy of 11 weeks, went into my OB office for my physical appt and they tried to find the heart beat but they couldn’t, they tried with a Doppler first and then gave me an ultrasound. I literally had no symptoms at all. No pain, no cramping, bleeding, spotting, nothing!
