What is your worst breakup turned success story?

My ex broke up with me after my uncle died, and I got rejected from a Dental school. Not to mention, I was also dealing with health problems and toxic work environment. His reason for breaking up with me, “I am not a Christian” 
For the next 4 months, we kept in touch and we finally decided to try again.

He broke up with me again because he met a girl and “he needs to see what God put in front of him.” Long story short, he was suicidal the whole time they were together because it turned out toxic and broke up. He hit me up and I ignored him. 
Now, I am a nurse with a great job and happier than ever.

Married my daughter father in a court house wedding because we needed benefits (we had a big church wedding planned for later that year so it didn’t seem like a big deal.) day of my dress fitting he tells me he wants to separate that we’re growing apart. This was September we were supposed to have our wedding November. My bridal shower was literally 2 days away. After weeks of going back and fourth and devastation. I found out he had a whole relationship for 2 months of our marriage and then continued into the separation, at one point she was pregnant. 
Eventually I left fully when I could afford an apartment, we lived with his mom because I was in nursing school.
Fast forward years of emotional abuse from him. I’m not remarried working as a nurse ready to buy a house and working towards having a baby with my now husband. He still lives with his mom 😂

, (back ground) we were military lovers , he repeatedly broke my heart , I ended up pregnant , he tried to bribe me into getting abortion.. I dealt with his friends harassing me.  I lost my daughter.. couple months later he was in a relationship while deployed in Japan , we still seen another when he came back ... I got an apartment near my college he would travel over 70 miles to stay the weekend with me as I use to with him on base . It was tome fir him to get his dd214 .. before heading back to Texas he said basically to forget about him ect .. he ended up dating his besf which she has two kids of her own ... he flossed her in my face ect yawl ! Me and her got into an argument because wtfk this was a shocker to me !! I ended up blocking her .. (in the midst of all this he's said horrible things)  further down the line we ended up seeing another again , he would fly me out to Texas Nd we would be bd/bm  Nd I'm nit gunna lie I was okay with that because I was with him , but things started to get heated , his mom would say little things.. so eventually I stopped talking to him , not to mention he has severe  ptsd .. fast forward more .. we talked on and off .. I ended up in the hospital for ten days due to my lungs .. we ended up taking all the time , he mentions How bad his living situation was with his family , we agreed fir me to move down there because obviously my check stubs were about 2300 a week . I moved across state , I became a stay at home gf and a full time student . I purchased everything to make our house a home .. he complained about paying the rent , he talked about me really bad to his friends , I had a suicide attempt , the fool told his friends in a group. Hat , said it was funny Nd how I'm all types of dumb bitches ... .. he stringed me along , woke up Nd said he was moving out . I was left in a new state with nothing but $145 in my account ..
Now I have a great job , new car , able to pay my rent on time , by my self , turned the game room into an office because I am still a student .

I dated my ex a long time ago for almost 6 years. He had a good friend named Nick who was dating a girl for a long time, too. My ex and I broke up (messy) and his friend Nick and his gf broke up. My ex and Nick’s ex started messing around. Two years later, I ran into Nick. We caught up a little bit. We’re now married with two little girls and have a fabulous life. So, my breakup gave me my husband which I’m forget thankful for lol. PS- my ex and Nick’s ex are married now too lol!

He broke up with me and kicked me out of the house he owned. It was 2 days after my father died and we had just had a baby, she was 4 months old. I stupidly got back with him because I think I just needed him there while I was grieving, and he ended it again last October, after abusing me. I'm now in university and plan on becoming a clinical psychologist after I get my degree

I was with my first husband for 4 years, married for 2 years. He was a serial cheater who progressed to verbal and emotional abuse which progressed to physical abuse. We lived 3000+ miles away from our friends and family because he joined the military a yr into our relationship. We got married before his first duty station. We've been divorced for going on 8 years now. I walked away with PTSD, severe anxiety and panic disorder, and agoraphobia. 
Now I've been with my current husband for 6 yrs as of the 13th. Married 2 yrs come May. We've been pregnant 3 times and we have one amazing almost 3 yr old daughter. We have a house. He has a decent job as a ranch hand which grants him a lot of time with his family depending what needs done during the day. I'm working on going back to school to be an accountant. He's never so much as raised his voice at me. Our parents are actually best friends and that's how we met 17 yrs ago. We were family before we were family. We both have a wonderful relationship with our in laws because they practically watched us grow up. From 14 on. They actually did watch my sister grow up. She was 3 and now she's 20.
