My last day at work was Friday feb 12th . EVERYONE knows I’m on maternity leave and yet they still call me 🙃

Nevermind that 3 days before i left HR CALLED and asked if I’m sure i wanna go on maternity leave early and if i want to work a little more . 😕 excuse me i am going from being a parent of one to a parent of two . I need to get my house together , my mind mentally together and i need to rest. While at work in constantly up and down walking back and forth for patients and around covid .( as we do covid testing) I’ve already tested positive for covid before. I’ve had so many contractions while at work by the time i get home I’m so exhausted i have to push myself to get my daughter n myself shower and fed before bed . ( my bf does help a lot ) but if it’s up to him we’d eat tacos everyday. Then i would work 10-12 hour shifts as well as weekends . I’m exhausted even writing this ...

I just think they are really inconsiderate, debating on actually going back at the end of leave ... maternity leave is for me to get myself together to rest as much as i possibly can before my baby girl arrives . I had my first daughter at 38 weeks and i am currently 36 . I’ve been in the hospital and given terbutaline to stop contractions and still expected to come in the next day and do a long shift .. just too much
