Apartment hunting

The area I live in everything is pretty cheap. If my monthly expenses will be under $1,500 is it okay to move out of your parent's with only 5k in savings? That's how much I estimate I'll have by September. I hope to find a place then. It's toxic here

Planning finding a better job, but woah I make $1,300ish right now, 1/4 of that is $325. 1/3 is $433. The lowest rent around here is like $600. I've been browsing looking at places in the low to high 800s. I know it sounds crazy to spend 50-65% of your income on rent, but that's look like what's gonna end up happening. Besides food, my other expenses would be like $300ish so it would be doable. Just sounds crazy insane to spend that much on rent

By savings I meant for emergencies, like if they cut my hours or I lost my job all of a sudden. I wouldn't be depending on it
