Constipation 6 weeks- colostrum
So my LO is little over 6 weeks and she is constipated. I no because her last poop was small but pretty firm and dark it also caused her some pain. She is breast fed but I have been giving her formula at night to help with her reflux. The Dr did warn me that it could cause constipation and if it does I can give her a small amount of prune juice but I'm not able to get some tell tomorrow and wanting to relieve her discomfort now I got some of my freezer stash out and got some of my early milk with colostrum in it since I'm told its like a natural laxative. Well how soon should I expect her to poop? gave her two bottles. (not together, two feedings) should I give her another bottle before I give her formula tonight?
