Thrush? General Irritation?

I have been bf for 7 months. Recently, little dudes tooth rubbed wrong and I had a small cut, which HURT LIKE HECK. Thinking back, I do remember a bit of soreness for a few days before I noticed the cut.

Ok, anyway. The cut he mostly healed and I’ve just been using a nipple cream. Noticed a lot of redness mainly on that cut side and some on the other. It kinda generally burns constantly, especially when nursing.

Should I worry about thrush? How do I know if it’s just irritated or if I need to see a dr?
