When would you start the nursery? (Due June 20th)

I’m due June 4th as well and I’ve been slowly working on the nursery for the past month. I’m not currently working, plus I have the energy to do it whereas I might not feel the same way in a couple months.  I’m a planner and need to get things done well in advance or I start to freak out.  🤣

I’m due June 29th with baby number 3 (surprise gender this time) and our nursery has been pretty much done for a few weeks. Just need a rug and hamper!

I’m due June 20th as well and I’ve already started setting up my nursery. I’ve just started mine early because I have the energy to do it now, and I’d rather have it done sooner rather than later. I also have found it easier and better on my bank account to slowly purchase things for the nursery over time.

You never know when you'll go into labor. I think better to be safe than sorry. My friend just had her baby at 28 weeks! It made me realize, omg, I need to get on top of things and be ready because you just never know!

I said March just because it’s wise to get a dresser in there and get some closet organization and begin to sort and organize things as you collect them. No woman in the late third trimester wants to tackle a pile of stuff still with tags and wrapping on it. It takes forever to cut off all those little tags too btw! But you can also hold off on taking off tags and unwrapping if you think you might want to take some of it back in the end. Up to you.

i’m due june 4th mine isn’t DONE but we definitely started it, we just picked a room and started throwing baby things in it as people gave us stuff. only things we have right now is the crib and a few random items (towels, blankets, a few clothes, some books). we have no plans so far on how it’s going to look or anything, just figured we should at least start to give the baby a space besides storing everything in our garage.
