I think I might be pregnant..

So me and my guy friend had unprotected sex right in the middle of my ovulation days and yes he did... you know. Today would be the last day of period but I’m just realizing that it never came! It was suppose to be here four days ago. I took a pregnancy test but it came out negative. Is this accurate or should I wait longer? & if so, how longer? HELP PLEASE!
