And i officially had my first new mommy break down. My 3 week old little girl would not stop crying for anything. I tried feeding her, rubbing her stomach, giving her anti gas drops, carrying her, rocking her, changing her diaper, using a pacifier. NOTHING SOOTHED HER... her daddy walks in and asks what is wrong with her and i just say i have no idea. He then picks her up and she just stops...for like an hour she was quiet and didnt fuss. Immediately i thought “well...its me. She hates me. Im just a portable milk carton for her”. I went in the bathroom sat in the tub and cried. I came back out and she commenced her screaming again. I was beyond myself. I took off her onsie and my shirt and fed her and just held her skin to skin and now she is asleep and happy. Then i changed her again and got her dressed and shes still fast sleep.

Im thinking maybe she just had gas or was constipated but whatever it was i am sure glad its over for now.
