Does anyone have experience with period cups?

What are your experiences?

I loved my depo provera once because I never had a period, I never had any of the side effects of the shots. Except after giving birth.. Everything changed.

I'm gaining weight like crazy and I'm having random bleedings. My OB said it's the depo provera and I should find a different birth control. (I also have terrible migraines that could potentially be caused by the depo however I didn't communicate that with my OB as I only read about it later)

So I went over it with my husband.. And he wants to do a vasectomy, planned the appointment and everything right away.

Sooo I guess I'm going to have to live with periods now 😩😂 like a normal woman.

I don't like tampons AT ALL I feel like they always sit uncomfortably. They're either too big or too small,... And I think it's absolutely gross to pull it out of me. And then it dangles and everything is bloody... Omg the horror 🤣

I don't mind pads. But they're just hot and sweaty and though still not comfortable.. A lot better than tampons.

But I hear a lot of good things about cups but I wonder.. If tampons are so uncomfortable for me, wouldn't cups be too?

Or.. You have to compress the cup to get it in.. So do you have to compress it to get it out? (and potentially smear/gulp blood everywhere?)

What if you drop it in the toilet? Do you buy multiple just in case that happens??
