When to test?

How early can you get a faint line?  I'm 6DPO  and my period comes in 4-5 days

The absolute earliest you can test and get a positive pregnancy test is 8 dpo. Implantation occurs 6-12 dpo and it takes hcg 2-3 days to double. You can get a positive 8 dpo but may not receive a positive till 14+ dpo.

I got a very very very faint line on a Cheapie at 9dpo. It was so faint i Second guessed myself.

I took a test 2 days later and the line was definitely there.

I think it's best to wait as long as possible to test just to avoid confusion
