Supply and baby sleeping through night?
Baby girl is 6 months and we just went from co sleeping and her eating 4-6 times a night to eat to sleeping in her crib from about 7pm-7am. I’m so excited! Everyone in the house is sleeping better and in better moods lol.
But... I’m worried about losing my supply now that she’s sleeping longer. I’ve worked so hard to get to 6 months EBF and want to make it to at least a year. I currently feed her at 6:15 from the boob, top off with a 4 oz bottle of breast milk and then put her to bed. I’ll either pump at 10 abs then around 6am or pump between 1-3 am... is this enough to maintain my supply? Do I have to wake up more often to pump? Will my body learn to make more milk during the day? Also, bonus question.. did your period return after baby started sleeping through the night? I still haven’t had one so I’m curious if now that I’m not feeding around the clock if it’ll come back. Thank you so much!
