Last time I tried everything (except for castor oil) and nothing worked. Baby will definitely come when they’re ready, in saying that there is some food research on the benefits of raspberry leaf tea, evening primrose oil and eating dates although none of these will put you into labour

So I have had 2 natural pregnancies (currently in my 3rd) and 1 home birth. I can confidently tell you nothing other than medical intervention can “induce labor” my midwife starts me on different things that I commonly see in posts about “inducing labor” when it actually just preparing your body for labor. Castor oil can irritate your body to give you a BUNCH on contractions really intense and forceful contractions that will not induce labor but make you miserable and put baby in danger. My sister was taking castor oil for a week before she went into labor on her due date and had a very traumatic birth experience because of it. All I’m saying is that your little one will come when it’s time but all of the things you read are excellent ways to prepare for labor! Like primerose oil, raspberry leaf tea, SPERM, walking, stairs, labor ball exercises... it all helps but irritating your bowls just makes you uncomfortable 👌🏻

Sex seemed to work for me last time! 40+1 when we had sex and bub was born the next day.
But I think he was just ready to make a move honestly

Nothing based on my previous pregnancies (this is child #6) bubs will come when they are ready and not before. I’ve tried it all and even had 3 sweeps done with my last pregnancy and bubs still didn’t come until she was ready.
